Hillingdon Outdoor Activity Centre

Biography

Before HS2 closed the centre HOAC was set in an idyllic location surrounded by farmland, fields and woodland, with a large, spring-fed 45 acre lake in its grounds. Since 1992 we were providing an extensive range of outdoor activities for Schools and Groups. HOAC was established as a registered Youth Educational Charity in 1992 and is run in partnership with the London Borough of Hillingdon.

Since our closure in 2020 we have been working towards relocating the centre to be able to offer outdoor education to the local community.

Whilst we await relocation we will now be offering an outreach program were we can come into schools to offer activities. This exciting new option will offer schools the chance to engage in national curriculum based activities without the extra costs of transporting the class offsite.

We are available during school hours including after school clubs Monday - Friday in term time

All activities take place under the direct supervision of our instructors who undergo a thorough in-house induction and training process, as well as having the appropriate national qualifications, (Archery GB, British Fencing, etc).

Due to our current staff numbers we can only accommodate one class at a time but we have an exciting range of activities to engage your class in outdoor adventurous activities at your site.
