Biography
Headington Rye Oxford is an academically selective single-sex, day and boarding school for boys aged 3-11 and girls aged 3-18 in Oxford established in 1915.
We are committed to enabling every pupil to flourish and thrive, whatever their background. We will support your son or daughter to grow and develop as an individual, achieving their potential beyond their – and your – expectations. Headington was established by evangelical Christians and Rye by a pair of Roman Catholic teachers from Oxford. The School merged in 2024 based on shared Christian and educational values and a curious, confident and ambitious outlook. The School today respects the vibrant international and multi-cultural school community which it has become while reflecting the Christian values of our founders.
