Reflecting on Ethical Outdoor Therapy Practice: The Statement of Good Practice in Outdoor Therapy

Tuesday 24th September 19.00-20.00

Join this webinar to find out more about the Statement of Good Practice in Outdoor Therapy from the authors, considering and discussing how this is relevant to your own area of work. As well as an overview of aspects of ethical agendas of developing Outdoor Therapy practices, it will be an opportunity to dialogue and reflect with like-minded professionals on ethical considerations in aspects of your own professional practices.

Being outdoors together is at the heart of the Association for Outdoor Therapy.

Our events are opportunities for interdisciplinary professionals, (counsellors and psychotherapists, outdoor learning practitioners, outdoor adventure leaders, psychologists, health professionals, wider professionals, students etc.) to come together and be part of this diverse community. Our goal is to create safe shared spaces to reflect, develop, collaborate and celebrate outdoor therapy and therapeutic outdoor practices.

We will offer a range of online and in-person events and are currently developing an exciting event schedule. Our current scheduled events are outlined below, and this includes an Association for Outdoor Therapy Annual Conference that will commence in 2025 and rotate to different geographical locations across the UK. Also, we will offer online webinars and discussion groups on a range of different relevant topics. More events will be listed shortly.

If there is a training need or event that would be of interest or supportive in developing your practice, then please let us know. We are building these as an ongoing community resource, so we welcome ideas ahead for what would be most useful for members.
