Venture Scotland offers progressive, outdoor-based personal development programmes. The programmes empower young people aged 16-30, and older participants, who face complex and difficult challenges intheir lives and want help to change.
We focus on our participants’ physical, mental and emotional wellbeing, helping them to make profound, positive and lasting changes in their lives.
We are seeking an Outdoor Programme Leader, who identifies with our values of Trust, Respect, Compassion, Belonging and Empowering, to deliver our 12-week-long, outdoor-based programme called ’Venture On To Recovery’ – working with groups of up to 10 participants who are in recovery from substance use (aged 18-65). This includes delivering outdoor activities and residentials and providing in-depth and structured social and emotional learning opportunities for individuals. We welcome applications from diverse communities.

There maybe an opportunity in the future to lead on our young people’s programme in Glasgow subject to funding.
