We are recruiting a new Senior Instructor to join the seasonal team for 2025.

The role will help the Chief Instructor coordinate the day to day running of the centre by leading from the front. You will also be expected to assist the Chief Instructor to make safety and weather decisions at our off site venues with dynamic risk assessments.

While working alongside the team on activities day to day, you will liaise with teachers and group leaders and have the opportunity to take on extra responsibilities, including but not limited to; coordinating DofE, session observations and feedback, staff training, kit inspections and corporate facilitation days.

Brenscombe is a close knit and social team. In the evenings and at weekends we can be found paddling the Jurassic Coast or climbing at many of the local trad and sport venues of Dorset. Being so close to Corfe Castle and Swanage there is also the local nightlife, summer carnivals and quaint village pubs and cafes to explore after a day of adventure.

We offer; affordable onsite accommodation, tailored CPD days, pro-discounts on kit and an annual training allowance for qualifications plus endless opportunities for personal development.

The centre itself is an old farm with beautiful cottages nestled in the Purbeck Ridge. We are surrounded by local heathland and are a short walk from Corfe Castle and a 5 minute drive from the beach or shops.

Brenscombe has two sister centres each tailored slightly differently. One in Portland, Dorset and one in the New Forest, Hampshire. Throughout the season you will have the opportunity to work with people from across the Activate Outdoors group.
