Camas comprises a core team of both resident staff and volunteers during the guest season. The coordinator oversees the weekly programme’s planning, coordination, and administration and makes sure that all staff and guests are supported and integrated into Camas’ common life. The Coordinator bears the additional duty of ensuring that all safety protocols are in place, and that the well-being of both employees and visitors is prioritised.
This is a developing position in a dynamic environment that calls for adaptability and continuous review of the job description. It is likely that Camas’ management structure will undergo a considerable transformation during this post. The new Coordinator will be involved in this process.
This post is regulated work and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act. The post-holder will need to be or to become a member of Scotland’s Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme.
Due to the nature of this work, it will NOT be possible to consider candidates who do not already have the right to work in the United Kingdom.
This is a Full time post offered on a 3-year fixed term residential basis. Start date 1st February 2025 (not later than 1 March 25) , end date 31st Jan 2028.
All rent, bills and food are included, with an annual allowance of £9,167 pro-rated for seasonal staff.
