Our Vision

Outdoor Therapy is recognised as an accessible and credible approach that benefits individuals, society, and our planet.

Our Mission

To develop and support safe, ethical, and sustainable approaches to outdoor therapy by building a thriving community of practice, promoting knowledge and understanding, and building capability in the field.

Our Current Strategic Goals

  • To develop relevant information and guidance that supports the ethical delivery of outdoor therapies.
  • To build an active and diverse community of practitioners who have a shared and safe  space to dialogue and reflect on outdoor therapy practices on a regular basis.
  • To provide signposting and access to relevant resources and information that support public and professional understanding of outdoor therapies.
  • To provide a platform for the delivery of professional development events that develop knowledge and competence in the delivery of best practices in outdoor therapy.
  • To establish and maintain a sustainable framework for the association and outdoor therapy practices.
