APIOL five years on: A Celebration!

An event for APIOL and LPIOL award holders in the South West

Marjons College, Derriford, Plymouth - Tuesday March 9th 2010, 6.00 – 8.30 pm
A get together of all APs in the region has been suggested by a number of people over the last couple of years – so here it is, to coincide with the five year anniversary since the first group of APIOL candidates in the S West region successfully completed their assessment.
The evening will kick off with a bar meal (provided) so people can come straight from work. Then the aim is to address and discuss a number of issues likely to be of interest to APs.

These will include:

AP- what difference has it made for you?
Becoming an AP mentor / assessor
How do we go about appointing a suitable Professional Development Coordinator for the S West Region?
Encouraging others to follow the AP route
LPIOL – are you interested? Are you ready?

Mostly, though, the evening should be seen as a celebration, a chance to catch up with the news and views of fellow APs and a look at the latest developments across the institute.
There’s no need to book – if you want to come just email Phil Berry so that we know how many meals to order.
