Bursaries from the Northern Region
The Northern Region Committee of IOL is offering bursaries of up to 50% of the APIOL fees to candidates who would otherwise pay the full amount themselves, and who can show that APIOL will be of benefit to themselves and to outdoor learning in the region.

APIOL and Higher Education
We are talking to a number of Universities and Higher Education Colleges about getting recognition of APIOL as part of a package of Accredited Prior Learning (APL) which you can present in order to get on to a post graduate course. Nothing is finalised yet but watch this space for further developments.
APIOL for new practitioners
New practitioners are asking IOL for support and development activities that they can do while they gain the experience needed to start APIOL.
- Watch out for development activities appearing on the IOL website regularly.
