£14,225 - £18,465 Pro-Rata.
Training allowance
40 hour week working 5 in 7 days

Land & Wave is a provider of outdoor education and adventure sports based in Poole, Dorset. Established in 2009, we are looking to expand and would like to recruit Outdoor Educators.
We are actively seeking expansion and require a motivated individuals to help with the development of the company. With good chances of progression, we are looking for someone who could take the company forward with fresh new ideas.
Main Duties will include:
Planning, delivering and evaluating a range of programmes and activities.
Supervising participants to ensure their safety and welfare.
Liaising with customers to ensure programmes run smoothly.
Managing and delivering qualifications such as ASDAN, BTEC and Duke of Edinburgh Awards.
Maintaining equipment in accordance with Land & Wave procedures.
Assisting in the development and growth of Land & Wave Ltd.
To be considered for this role you must have:
Experience of working with young people in a professional capacity.
1 NGB from SPA, ML Summer, Beach Lifeguard or BCU Level 2/UKCC L2.
Ability to work independently, manage behaviour and resolve issues
Driving Licence and the use of a car
Functional use of Word, PowerPoint, Internet and Email.
Desirable qualities and skills include:
Higher Level NGB qualifications – Level 3 Sea, MIA.
D1 entitlement to drive a minibus
Experience of the Duke of Edinburgh Award
Experience of working with young people in a variety of settings
Training Opportunities
Land & Wave will look to support continued professional development in line with your own and company development. We will pay in full for qualifications such as SPA, GNAS, BCU, NBLQ and many more, if appropriate. During quiet periods you may be provided with paid time to build on log book requirements for NGB awards.
The Local Area
Land & Wave is based in Poole, Dorset on the south coast of England. There are many opportunities for outdoor pursuits including sea cliff and sport climbing at Swanage and Portland, Sailing, Sea Kayaking and Coasteering around the Jurassic Coast and Mountain Biking on the Isle of Purbeck.
